Traditional (Western) Boxing is one of the most effective ways to get and stay in shape. If you are looking to develop cardiovascular strength, coordination, and mental toughness, boxing is the sport for you. Boxing is one of the oldest combat sports. Utilizing punches, footwork, and head movement, boxing is the sweet science of hitting without getting hit. Through proper body mechanics, boxing is as efficient as it is smooth in generating powerful punches and beautiful evasive defense. Like the saying goes, “fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee!”
At Rev, we class focus on the movement drills derived from striking, and also the basic bodyweight exercises to develop overall strength, as well as various other drills with a focus on improving agility, flexibility, stability and explosiveness. Students will also have the opportunity to work on core and endurance. This will be achieved with dynamic and functional movements. We provide a safe, encouraging atmosphere for our student to focus on proper technique and constant improvement.
